The City of El Cerrito Design Review Board and Planning Commission are having a joint study session on Wednesday, January 17, starting at 7pm at City Hall in El Cerrito.

Members of the Plaza for the People community have not had a chance yet to summarize our thoughts regarding the recently released plans. We encourage community members to review the meeting packet and provide feedback at the meeting.

Plaza for the People 
While the Plaza transformation is exciting, ensuring accessible transportation for all residents is crucial. Let’s advocate for incorporating QRyde’s paratransit dispatch software into the plans! Imagine seamless connections between BART, buses, and paratransit, optimizing routes and schedules for riders with diverse needs. This inclusive approach would make the Plaza not just a vibrant hub, but an accessible one for everyone in El Cerrito. Let’s voice our support for prioritizing paratransit integration during the meeting
